Channeling on new Ceado E37S - with and without WDT

Aligning the burrs made a huge difference for me. One thing to keep in mind is that Ceado may claim that it voids the warranty, or so they told me. But I do think that realignment of the burrs is a basic task that should be allowed to be done by the end user. It can make a big, big

Ceado E37S vs Mahlkonig K30 ES

I don't think the different versions would differ in grind quality or maintenance + lack of need for recallibration after cleaning. But some earlier grinders had problems with spraying. If the new static flap completely solves this (I have no info about if it does or not) then the newer grinders sho...

Ceado E37S vs Mahlkonig K30 ES

It seems to me to be the earliest version, not the most recent (before the touch screen version). The earliest version has an adjustable flap, as seen in this image: {image} The second version (prior to the touch screen one) has no screw since the flap is fixed; {image} From what I can se on the ima...

Ceado E37S vs Mahlkonig K30 ES

I think there are two different versions of the E37S prior to the one with touch screen. If so it's probably a good idea to check which version your "older" E37S option is. I could be mistaken, but I think the first version had an adjustable exhaust flap (first made of rubber and later of stainless ...

Ceado E37s working perfectly

Is the shape of the two doors really that different? Maybe you're right, but from what I can see from the video by WLL (that I linked to above) they seem quite similar. Yes, the new door has white plastic looking bushings and probably has a better fit. It's also thinner and shinier. But does it touc...

Ceado E37s working perfectly

Yes. But I do think many of us really enjoy the process of fine tuning our equipment. Maybe experiment with a new creative idea to optimize the extraction. However, getting ground coffee sprayed all over the T-shirt early in the morning isn't good for the morning temper

Ceado E37s working perfectly

Yes, that's the same sort of door that I have. I'll try to persuade my vendor to send me a new door. Fingers crossed! Thank you!! However, when my flap is fully closed it's quite far from the door... If the apex of the door was facing _outwards_, then the flap would have touched the door, but as it is

Ceado E37s working perfectly

So I just mounted the new flap, and after a few doubles my white T-shirt got covered by spraying coffee grounds. I have the flap fully closed. Unfortunately my vendor just sent me the flap, and didn't include a new door. I think the newer door is thinner, shinier and has white bushings. Mine is

Ceado E37s working perfectly

Yes, I mean ground coffee. And no, I don't think 30 grams fits in the burr chamber. I think ground coffee gets stuck behind the clump crusher. Then bits of that stale coffee grounds break free during grinding, and ends up in my basket along with freshly ground coffee. Lately I've had some of the wor...

Ceado E37s working perfectly

I have mine fitted with the mod that Beanosaurus came up with. It's a clever idea! However I have problems with retention. I have to purge two full doubles (30 gr) before I get absolutely fresh coffee. That's too much. The grinding chamber + chute throat isn't that big, but there appears to be some ...
