[SOLD] Italcrem/Visacrem 101 Complete Lever Group

I am selling my Italcrem 101 complete group, it has new piston and group gaskets and also bonus modified bottomless CMA/Astoria portafilter. The chrome is in pretty decent shape, no peeling or flaking and only few minor imperfection. The spring has some surface oxidation but it is working just fine....

Ditting 804 LAB SWEET burrs

I have an 804 and have tried the old cast burr, new machined burr and SSP red coated burr. So far I slightly prefer the old cast burr versus the SSP while the machined burr does not grind find enough for some espresso roasts. The new Lab Sweet burr sounds interesting but I wonder how much improvemen...

The right answer here is Gen 1 Mistral of course. Rarer than Gen 2 but more user friendly than GS1

Upcycle Lever Project

Great job, I have exact same Italcrem group that I used while I was fixing my original Conti group. I ended up using Cafelat 9mm Simonelli gasket plus E61 shower screen after trying few different kind of gasket. My dipper tube was in bad shape so I ended up making my own stainless tube. The fitting ...

User Experience: Kafatek MC3

I'd like to hear the reasoning going with Mazzer burr on the MC3. I thought there's a some consensus here that the mazzer flat burrs is not as precision machined, finished or even designed hence the popularity of ssp burr upgrade, However on the MC3 the upgrade burr option is actually Mazzer 186C bu...

You'd have to send the item back first, no different than buying anything else online. (You might have to pay return shipping costs, but may be eligible for Return Shippin...

Current Draw of Espresso Machine

Does your Elektra uses 3 pole heating element such as these? {link} Most of the machines in the US are wired to single phase configuration so basically the 3 poles are bridged together in parallel. You can remove one pair of bridges and just run it on 2 poles which is 2/3rd of the power

Received my La Marzocco Linea Mini pretty beat up...

You'd have to file a dispute first via Resolution Center. I think there is 20 days time limit for the seller to try to resolve it which should be enough time for the seller to file a claim to UPS or the shipper. If both you cant resolve the dispute (i.e seller not responding or just flat out refusing)

Received my La Marzocco Linea Mini pretty beat up...

Shipping via pallet/freight is the only way with these machines. Fedex/UPS ground shipment has to be able to withstand 3' drop and survive so that is very difficult to pack properly. Note that UPS/Fedex or other carrrier such as Old Dominion offers terminal to terminal shipping which is quite a bit ...

ECM Synchronika vs La Marzocco Linea Mini For Steam Power

Not sure if mentioned but Synchronika/Pro 700 with 2 bar PID upgrade doesnt let you run 20A mode anymore so it will not heat both steam and brew boiler at same time. Probably doesnt matter too much unless you are doing a few back to back drinks
