Hi, Could you please message me regarding the gauges and the heat sink? Where did you get them? I know about the piston pressure kit. You have bought them from Hungary. What about the others? Thanks. Tamas

New Lever is in the House...well, kinda...Portaspresso
Hi Sam, I tried to aim for 1mm holes, but because the silicone sheet is thin, it is difficult. Also it flexes easily, so the issue I'm having is because if this. The ROK silicone screen would be ideal, but because it is thick you won't be able to screw the head in fully. Anyway, I pulled two

The 1mm silicone screen never worked properly for me, disturbed the puck and caused channeling. See the holes on the puck on the attached picture. I've been using the screen for a year now. It is good to prevent coffee going into the pressure gauge or small particles falling into the water, but that...

I don't think that you need to remove the polish. I have experienced coffee falling out from the puck in the following cases ( I have an IMS basket): - I don't Tamp always properly, this is why I'm getting an EasyTamp 5 star pro tamper 54mm - I'm using beans older than 2 weeks - I'm not using

Hey Dom, The extraction was pretty fast...15-20 sec. But it is probably because the coffee is two weeks old. I'll get some freshly roasted beans tomorrow and I'll try again. I want this to work

My screen is 67 mm in size and I tried to drill the holes as highlighted in my previous post. They are symmetrical. I tried two shots and I made sure to tighten the naked head fully. This is how the puck looked. It seems that the screen disturbed the puck when I applied pressure. The silicon screen is

Well, I noticed the grounds in my Rossa as well. It can be cleaned with a fishing wire. It is inconvenient though, so I'm going to try the silicone sheet today. One thing I'm not sure about and it might be a silly question. Using this screen would allow for a coarser grind to keep the extraction

Work in progress...I have to drill the holes with 1.5mm drill bit, I don't have a smaller one, but even though it will help with even water penetration. I asked Ross, and he has told be that this is not necessary. It is true, however it makes things easier. If your technique is already perfect then ...
