What endgame single dose grinder that doses directly into a portafilter?

I'm in a similar situation with the same 2 grinders. Been eyeing a MC6 as an upgrade. Does anyone know if the portafilter forks work with the offset lugs used on a bosco lever group (p800, Londinium, etc.)?

Announced: Niche Duo 83mm flat burr grinder

Remember when Orphan Espresso announced the Pharos on April 1 and everyone assumed it was a joke? That turned out to be a pretty nice product that elevated many people's espresso game. Hopeful this one will turn out similarly !

Must-have accessories for the Breville Dual Boiler

Not really an accessory, but good water! Whether you make your own recipe (rpavlis), use third wave water packets + distilled, etc just make sure you feed your new machine good, non-scaling water. This will prevent many of the maintenance woes people tend to report. This applies to every machine, bu...

Drip brewer for a camper

Thanks for the replies! Bonavita used to be my go-to recommendation but thought they had gone out of business. Will have to take a look again. I looked at the grind control, but I'm wary of any built in grinder, will likely be bringing my hand grinder. Love the clever dripper, and if it was

Drip brewer for a camper

I'm looking for advice on which auto drip brewer to get for our 28' camper. Not living in it full-time, just weekend warrior/week long trips throughout the year. We currently have a Breville precision brewer at home and like it, but is on the larger side. Criteria: something compact, metal carafe, s...

Single dose grinder, do I want it?

For only 1 shot a day, you as single user, either a hand grinder or SD grinder would really be the only way to go. I love my k30 and use it as intended with hopper full, but I'm usually pulling 6-8 shots in the morning and several in the afternoon. I either do a short purge, or

If you could only have one grinder...

You'll likely be grinding bags for customers more than you think (or would like to) so keep that in mind. I think your best options for your needs as a do-all grinder would be either the lab sweet or an EK43. I get retention may be a bit higher than something like a p100, but overall I think

Help brewing with Cafelat Robot

Maybe try adjusting your temp as well. I know most people suggest using water right off boil, but that's usually for more medium-light coffees. Since you are using a dark roast, lower temp can help. Another factor is your water - are you using bottled, tap, etc?

What espresso machine would you suggest for our use?

Must have missed your budget in your OP, too many eggnogs yesterday In that case, the la spaz would be near the top of my list for a pump machine, and a pro 800 or londinium compressa for spring lever option. I've had my pro 800 for almost 5 years and still love
