I would like to comment on alignment before this thread goes off the rails. Per our own Jake-G, who rebuilds grinders and can do extensive testing, as well as high end grinder builders like Titus, simple tests at the zero point, like using a marker test or the gap betwen chirp and lock are not good ...

Maybe my statement was too general. But the P64 has an augur-like cap on the rotating burr. It may improve the performance. {image}

Since there is an augur and the shutter is closed (see below), popcorning is not an issue. Like all single dose grinders, it grinds slower for single dose than if you load it up (say for seasoning a burr).
