Green Coffee Exchange
CLAIMED! Hello all, I have two 5# bags of Columbia Coop de Caldas Decaf that I am not going to be roasting, so making it available to someone who regularly roasts decaf. I purchased it in August of last year from Sweet Marias and my wife decided she was going back to fully caffeinated coffee.

Recommend me a 500g roaster
I wouldn't say you were too harsh at all. Your reservations are understandable. But following the Aillio forum and seeing the response from the guys at Aillio gave me enough assurance that they would be there should I need them. I am about due for the first deep clean which looks very straightforwar...

Lucca A53 vs Profitec 600
I have the La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi II (basically the same as the Lucca) which I have had for a little over a year now and love it. It a solid machine and makes wonderful espresso, and has powerful steaming capability. I had also considered the Profitec 600, and don't think you can go wrong with

Recommend me a 500g roaster
I can only speak to the Bullet, as I have no experience with the others. I've had mine since Feb 2021 coming off a propane fluid-bed roaster. I roast in a workroom off my garage and wanted to get away from propane bottles in the workroom, so short of running natural gas (which I may do at some

KRUVE Brew Stick
In my opinion, no. For the mid pour stir perhaps but I have found them to be too wide to get to the bottom of the cone. When stirring the bloom there can be dry grounds that can't be reached with a teaspoon. For reference I am brewing 30g coffee to 500g water. I

KRUVE Brew Stick
Several months ago I ordered one of these as a filler in order to get free shipping. I've found that it has been money well spent. {link} One of the potential issues with V60 is making sure all of the grounds are wet for the bloom. With just a pour it can be difficult

Using Bullet; failing miserably. Tips needed!
I really don't have any additional advice to give, and really not in a position to give it anyway, other than to not fret too much. Have fun with it. I'm 12 roasts in on my with mixed success. I've used some other's recipes as a starting point. I felt like I really nailed

Problems brewing with my Moccamaster
We had a similar issue with my wife's Moccamaster after years of use. (The longevity of these things is impressive!) We resolved it quite by accident by replacing the filter basket. In our case the spring for the stopper was no longer working properly so we replaced the basket. Less the $20 on Amazo...
