Arrived! Laranzato HC-600

Hi Rob, I used the available template at 100% to make one up and installed it on my SJ yesterday! Works like a charm, although my material may be a little on the thick side. Cheers, Troy

Does reverse osmosis water filter prevent scale buildup?

The RO units I work with need carbons for chlorine removal. Chlorine will degrade the membrane and eventually ruin it. Cheers, Troy

Timers for warming up espresso machine in the morning?

I don't think there's any reason not to as long as it is rated to handle your equipment. On a side note. I have two young boys in the house, my timer serves as an interlock so little fingers can't turn on the machine while I am not around. Regards, Troy

Bottomless portafilter for Bezzera Z02s

I bought one from Espressoparts.com. Although they don't carry Bezzera they were more than willing to sell me the correct one. They're good guys, drop them a line and they'll help you out. I use it exclusively now while my stock PF gathers dust. Cheers, Troy

Building a Portafilter Pressure Gauge

Thanks, $30 ish CAD at ColeParmer.ca for the gauge. Actually, I have yet to convince myself that dialing down my OPV from 13 bar to anything else is a good idea (or at least that it will make a difference to most of my shots). I am of the mind that a good shot will naturally create a
