More improved support for smartphones
Forgive me for bumping an old topic, but I figured that was better than starting a new one. I've been inactive for quite a long time, but I used to be a regular poster. I've started reading the site again lately. Has there been any change on the idea of Tapatalk support? Reading other threads

PT's Coffee Roasters Bella Vita #2
I recently bought both the Bella Vita, and the Brazil from PT's. I really like the Bella Vita. I can see this becoming one of my go-to blends. It is a "chocolate bar" blend, with a pleasing aftertaste of dried apricot. I haven't found any of the berry flavor that Jim mentions, but I'll keep trying

Precise Blend for Verona Espresso From Classico Coffee
Jason, Sorry to see it didn't work out. The Verona was truly one of my favorite blends, even though I only got a chance to order it two or three times. Now I wish I had ordered it more often. Thanks for posting the recipe. Once I get back into home roasting, I'll try

What's your day job?
Currently a lawyer practicing civil litigation and real estate. Worked my way through school as a chef in an Italian restaurant (they had no idea how to make espresso, and I didn't either at the time)

Green bean for enhancing espresso blend's body
If you are not partial to the Sumatras, I'd suggest a Sulawesi. Heavy bodied, but sweet; as opposed to the earthy quality of the Sumatra. I also like Indian MNEB, but they can be a little light bodied -- even though they taste like spice

Cleaning a grinder with Grindz?
I haven't used minute rice, but I hear that it works well. I do use Grindz on a fairly regular basis. (To be fair, I won some in a contest here at HB). I think it works very well. I notice an immediate improvement every time I use it. I like it so much I will

Coffee Emergency Yemen Mokha San'ani
Just picked up a bag of this. Roasted 2 days ago. Abe was right about the butterscotch. Without any further rest, that's all I can taste. I dosed about 15g. I don't have accurate temp measurement, but I pulled it at about the middle of my temp range (10 - 15 second delay after a

Favorite espresso blend?
I'm partial to Fresco's Bello Blend. I find it a bit brighter than the Ambrosia, and a bit more complex than the Daterra. Just my $0.02. My favorite blend, however, is hard to peg. I like Counter Culture's El Salvador Finca Mauritania (not really a blend). I like Counter Culture's Espresso La Forza. I

This is a 4 page thread now, so forgive me if I missed it earlier, but have you found the true zero point of your grinder?
