Vesuvius + Compak E10 for that price! That's a deal for sure, great combo. Is this all 220v stuff? Don't know what they use in that part of the world

What is wow'ing you?
Was in Portland OR this weekend and enjoyed a few trips the "Seven Virtues" at 28th & Sandy, very good single origin, had a few from Brazil, Sumatra both very smooth kind of a vanilla cream and herbs with just the slightest acidic end, almost not there. &{link}

New Swiss burrs for LIDO 2?
When you look down the top of the grinder the cuts are extremely deep, just imagine shark fins. Those are the Italian burrs The Swiss are shallow. No pun intended

enjoy these days Klatch Coffee, Extracto, Dragonfly, Paisley Road Roasters, but best cup I've had so far was from Screaming Beans in Amsterdam this summer. Talk about cocoa and was the biggest doubles I've seen. Made on a manual Mirage Idrocompresso the woman new how to pull down on that grip

Espresso machine and grinder with ~$1500 budget
Do what I did get a Quickmill Silvano and a Lido 2 or 3 grinder, pick up a few of the VST baskets and a naked portafilter then worry about bigger better grinders later. Quickmill/chriscoffee plug {link} How can you go wrong

Crystal Geyser = Bad flavor espresso.
We'll that does it,, distilled water mixed with bottled. Water in the LA area is mostly 512, so if I can't get more then at least 25-30 gl out of the Zero filter @ around 40ppm or less then it's not worth it. What a pain

LIDO II play in burrs?
I don't think it's much of a problem. I see it in mine, but once you are grinding you're pressing down, so the grind should be coming out a even as it can. An electric my have less or no tolerance because your weight is not needed

I've been fiddling with the Zero water today. I put the water in at 004 on the device that comes with it. Then it come out at .30 ppm at the group head. So I'm guessing it is descaling the boiler in some way. I've been using the Mavea system without knowing the % scale on top is about how
