I am curious, why do flat burrs eject the grinds radially?

{link} This gives some interesting points on static and why grinds need some back pressure

Flojet & filtration plumbing confusion?

Anecdotally, connecting my flojet directly to the pitcher rinser gives a pretty weak spray - useless almost. Using the accumulator it is much more powerful and goes quite a distance. Comparing the flow out a pipe with nothing connected the pressure is noticably higher out the tank too

Why do you think this is? The EK can hold a little bit in the throat, and needs a fair thwack to clear it out after a shot. Doing a full clean usually yields about 2-3g retained. I tried RDT with the EK this morning and the results seem very positive (nicer pours with a bottomless PF, less retained)

Londinium L1-P and Mahlkonig EK43

No idea. 18>36 can taste a bit under on an EK and you typically need to pull a bit longer. Blonding might tell you to stop at a traditional ratio but you're not after traditional on the EK
