I am curious, why do flat burrs eject the grinds radially?

Flojet & filtration plumbing confusion?
Anecdotally, connecting my flojet directly to the pitcher rinser gives a pretty weak spray - useless almost. Using the accumulator it is much more powerful and goes quite a distance. Comparing the flow out a pipe with nothing connected the pressure is noticably higher out the tank too

Using the flojet I get about two bar of pressure but the accumulator gives around three. The pressure out the flojet directly is also pretty anaemic compared to out the accumulator. Having filter after means I'm not filtering water which might go into the accumulator but not get used (reducing flow ...

Why do you think this is? The EK can hold a little bit in the throat, and needs a fair thwack to clear it out after a shot. Doing a full clean usually yields about 2-3g retained. I tried RDT with the EK this morning and the results seem very positive (nicer pours with a bottomless PF, less retained)

No idea. 18>36 can taste a bit under on an EK and you typically need to pull a bit longer. Blonding might tell you to stop at a traditional ratio but you're not after traditional on the EK

The plastic dial comes off with an allen key but the adjustment screw and surround need masked off
