Drain valve water blast and Acaia Lunar

Great ideas! I was traveling hence the late reply. I'm also looking in to a replacement drip tray. The new Vetrano has a level grate instead of the mesh and would help with the weight balance

Drain valve water blast and Acaia Lunar

Greetings. I recently splurged and got myself a Lunar to use in both my roasting and espresso making routines. Right away I saw that the blast of water coming out of the drain valve on my Quick Mill Vetrano 2b at the end of a shot drenches the back of the scale and the exposed USB C port

Niche Zero: To RDT or Not to RDT

I wrote to Niche and asked them to clarify their position on RDT and they were kind enough to promptly reply:

Niche Zero: To RDT or Not to RDT

Looking at iploya's video makes me jealous! I'm a stone's throw from Venice Beach, CA. (for reference) and my Niche is 3 years old in July so I definitely think the burrs are seasoned. Still get lots of static and would have a mess if I tried to grind into the PF with a funnel/collar. I miss

Need help with post-roast data

It will certainly cut down on my data inputting with the iPad app. I tried a few samples of the partial screen grab and then dragged a...

Need help with post-roast data

Thanks for the quick replies. So that's about $65 a year. I was hoping that Artisan plus could generate a label from a list of data that you the user could choose. I don't need an adhesive bag label, just small bits of paper I tape onto that weeks Mason jar to ID which is which. {image} I suppose

Need help with post-roast data

I'm just a home roaster using Artisan (Mac OS) on my Hottop K+ and I primarily roast blends for my espresso needs. About once every 10 days I roast 4 batches of 200-220 grams. My current methodology is frustrating me. As I roast with Artisan I'm also running Roastmaster on my iPad for the Bean inven...

Hottop Roaster Cozy

I had to share. My wife who is a big quilter made a cover to keep the garage dust off my Roaster, it's insulated so maybe it'll help with the morning warm up. {image}
