PT's Coffee Finca El Patio - Costa Rica CoE #20

I've tried the El Patio from PTs twice. The first time the roast was light as you describe whereas a month later, this coffee was roasted much darker with visible oils. Has anyone else noticed inconsistency between PTs roasts or was this a fluke?

Le'Lit PL53 Stepless Doserless Espresso Grinder

A few questions:1. Is it possible to operate without the hopper? 2. What size are the burrs? 3. Beyond espresso, would this work as a portable grinder for cupping samples? Also, I am confused about the actual name of this grinder. Near the 'Buy Now' button on the website it is called "Le'Lit PL53110...

Roasting Metropolis Greenline with a RK or bbq drum roaster

Can't help you with suggestions for drum roasting as I use a HG/BM setup but I wanted to thank you for bringing the availability of the Greenline to my attention. I ordered 1lb of the Redline along with 5lb Greenline and I am extremely enthused over the sweet/tart sensation from a triple ristretto R...

Zassenhaus compared to Mazzer Super Jolly

Tristan, Also a college student, I've been using a Zass that I picked up at a thrift store for over six months and I agree, there is no issue with clumping. I use a Super Jolly at work and I find that as long as I thwack nice and fast on the doser handle I have no issue with
