Why blame the Naturals for bad sorting?
Personally I love the funky "barnyard" tang of a natural. One of the best roasts I've ever had was a natural Yirgacheffe from Useless Bay Coffee Co. it was funky to the point of it almost being a different beverage. La Marzocco GS/3 steam boiler noise.
This is probably a long shot, but I just spent a month chasing a buzzing sound coming from a Linea steam boiler which turned out to be the ball check valves in the steam wands

Thanks everyone! My goal was to ratchet my skill level up a few notches with this one, I'm pretty happy with the result! Yes, it will remain black! The drip tray is from a Conti lever two group machine I luckily had laying about. I would like to obtain sheet metal equipment someday... just

First shot: Actually, that is stretching the truth a bit, call it the first (video I liked well enough to share) of a shot. {video} There is still tweaking to do with dose and grind but that one tasted pretty good. I guess these La Marzocco machines are pretty nice

Wiring: I was able to finish up the wiring today. It's always nice to turn on the switch and have everything working properly. {image} Should be ready for a test drive tomorrow, I just need to attach to the pump and mains.... fingers crossed. {image}

It was more about being able to have both hot legs switched. An on/on/off switch would make for an easy line pressure pre-infusion but with three groups it would only work for one group at a time, which seems confusing in the high volume environment this machine is designed for

I would be surprised if the stainless boiler was a cost saving measure, as the added machining work must have be quite expensive. The boiler is large...
