The craziest %#*$ing thing I've seen all day...

Amateurs. If I adjust my grind, I can get a cappuccino in about 2 seconds. I use a milk/water mixture in the boiler to speed up things, and grind coarsely, just to keep things moving. And what is a "cup of Cappuccino" anyway?

Any recommendations for digital scale?

It doesn't work this way, sadly. You press a button to start/stop the timer. I had the same thoughts as you; I wish it did work this way. Maybe they can update the firmware someday. It does have a USB port, but I am not sure if that is just for charging. It operates in

ZPM Nocturn Espresso Machine

I think in most Kickstarter cases it is all moot. Either they have enough money to deliver on their promises, or they run out of money like ZPM did. Some of the people who "pre-ordered" from ZPM's website are out $600. That's painful. I think it is crazy to pre-order a kickstarter after the initial ...

ZPM Nocturn Espresso Machine

The majority of startups never produce anything. It is just a shame that so many inexperienced investors got taken in. This is why the government is trying to control "crowdsourced" investment. No matter how many disclaimers you sign, people will still complain when they lose money. Although they di...

ZPM Nocturn Espresso Machine

I just read through this thread. Amazing to see the whole history from start to finish. I expect the COO left because they ran out of money. They really have no choice but to shut the company down. Condolences to folks who lost money

Arist coffee machine (Kickstarter)

To me, this is "car jumped on the counter while I was grinding into a basket and getting the milk ready" I don't see how the arist can help with that, unless it has a cat detector/defender. It seems to have everything else, so maybe it does. I had the DeLongi as my first espresso machine.

Arist coffee machine (Kickstarter)

With Arist, you can say goodbye to scenes like this: {image} It is amazing how accurately they capture my espresso making routine... Anyone recognize the machine in this shot? DeLonghi?
