10 months later, horrible kafatek experience. What to get now?

Well, we have to caveat that analysis with the fact I am going off the parts manual, not an actual E80 and we still haven't seen the burrs on the E80. The chute knocker is nice for the 807, but the E80 is going to be a whole lot more convenient to use for Espresso

From the E80 parts manual, the actual grinding mechanism seems to be nearly identical to the 807 Lab Sweet..in particular the rpm is the same and they are using the same silicon flapper as the 807 Lab Sweet. The E80 is just missing the chute knocker of the 807 Lab Sweet. The difference between the P...

10 months later, horrible kafatek experience. What to get now?

"The Peak looks amazing but some others have written that the retention is enormous." There is a lot of nonsense written on this forum. I don't have the time or energy to go in depth on this at the moment. I will just point out that the Ditting 807 Lab Sweet, a grinder specifically marketed for it's...

Although they look great, some of the grinders on your list are anodized on all surfaces, which is a nonconducting coating. These grinders don't dissipate the static charges that are always generated when grinding beans, especially in dry air...hence the need for spraying beans with water etc. I hav...

2014 HG one grinder

According to the HG One web site, they made an unanodized version for someone. Hope that "someone" posts here regarding static levels

Jason told me they were working on one, but it was one of those things where who knows when it would get done. Don't set your expectations too low on price. Going from two groups down to one doesn't really cut the price that much. To get the price down, you'd have to sacrifice a lot of the build qua...

There's a 9 bar rotary pump (standard with the slayer) and a bucket under the knockbox. It's plumbed in to an RO filter under the kitchen sink on the opposite side of the wall you see. I also ran a 3 phase 400V line through that wall for power
