Batdorf & Bronson vs. other espresso blends
No, it's a good idea. Maybe I'll do that!

Batdorf & Bronson vs. other espresso blends
Did not see that as an option on the website. In fact, one of the reasons that I tried B&B in the first place, was I tried it in a small coffee shop in Atlanta. I figured that this was where they shipped from when I placed the order. It wasn't until I got to the shipping

Batdorf & Bronson vs. other espresso blends
I have recently become a big fan of B&&B. I tried the Dancing Goats, but I much prefer the Vesuvio blend. In fact it is all I have been drinking lately. I like straight espresso, and WOEgg likes americanos. We both agree that the Vesuvio is our current favorite. My only gripe is that they

Storing extra coffee
I recently ordered two pounds of coffee. I received a box with my two lbs, but I also received a second box containing four lbs of different whole bean coffees. This box was supposed to have shipped to another customer, judging by the packing slip. I have emailed the vendor, but I am guessing (hopin...

Kudos to Chris' Coffee Service Department
I wanted to take a minute to recognize how helpful Jason, at Chris' Coffee was when I had an issue with my Vetrano. I noticed that it had developed a leak. I know nothing about how an espresso machine works, and am only reasonably "handy". I sent a message that said something along the lines of "there

Observations on new mid-dose tamping technique.
I am using a Macap M4 stepless grinder. I grind 18 grams of beans (Caffe Fresco's Daterra's blend) for a double shot. This usually takes about 9-10 pulls on the lever of the grinder to dose the coffee. Lately I have been doing a light tamp halfway through dosing (after 4 pulls of the lever), then fi...

Here's an e-mail I sent to Tony re: Ambrosia Coffee
I completely agree about this blend. I have gone through about 10 lbs of it since I started on my espresso journey. Recently, I have switched to his DATERRA'S RESERVE blend. I think it has a slightly smoother finish. Either way, the service and products have been great. Larry

Decaf espresso.... what I've tried, what I've found somewhat wanting....
I have the exact same setup as you, and I have given up on the decaf. You have described my experience well

Vivaldi, Vetrano or even Valentina???? Yet another struggle to decide...
I too, recently plumbed in a Vetrano. As with all plumbing jobs, it took 3 trips to Home Depot/Ace, but it was still relatively easy. The biggest problems I had were (1) Putting Teflon tape on the fitting on the bottom of the machine (it is recessed). I finally had to have my wife do it, with
