Quick Mill - Beeping anything besides water level?
Hello, I have had an ongoing issue with my QM Andreja where sometimes at powerup (on a timer), or seemingly randomly after an extended period powered on, the machine will trigger the steady-beep where it kills the boiler power, which is supposedly the low water sensor. In both cases, cycling power b...

Quickmill Andreja pump change out - difficulty?
Hello, On Friday while starting a shot, my vibe pump suddenly changed noises and became very quiet and the pressure dropped. Subsequent tests have shown that the return tube flows steadily, and no pressure builds with a blind basket, and with no basket the water trickles out. I initially thought it ...

My experience with the Mahlkonig E65S vs. the K30 Vario
Not only is the retention 4-6g as Peter mentioned, I find that as my hopper empties the grind setting has to change to account for the feed speed being different. I would imagine this impacts single dosing as well, worst case being with inconsistent grinding?

Mahlkonig E65S grind setting lock question
I have had my E65S for a few months now and I found I had to recalibrate the burrs. I have never used the lock on the back of the grinder before so I wanted to ask about its importance. Did my grinder need a new calibration because the grinder was breaking in, or can it shift if unlocked when

Post a pic of your home espresso setup...
New home, new E65S grinder! For now the espresso is set up at the basement wet bar. I hope to set aside a portion of the remodeled kitchen for it later this year. {image}

My experience with the Mahlkonig E65S vs. the K30 Vario
Hi Marshall, I just wanted to thank you for your review last year. I've wanted a K30 for a long time, never got one before it was discontinued, and I failed at getting a Monolith, so I just ordered an E65S from ChrisCoffee tonight

Scale for pour over
I think you forget the forum you're frequenting. I mean, when the "budget" grinder is a $400 Sette, and the gold standard scale is a $250 Acaia, then why can't $90 for all the features of the Brewista qualify as 'hard to beat', without you getting contentious? Have you used that linked grinder? It's...

Scale for pour over
I have a $10 "AMir" scale off Amazon that's working fine after several years, but I have to use my smartphone to time brewing. For my home espresso I have a Brewista Smartscale II and it has several pourover modes and built in timer, auto tare, etc
