Entry point into conical grinders

If you can get past the phobia of only buying new, warranty, nice packaging , etc etc,... ..then you can find some incredible top line equipment, generally well cared for ...( coffee drinkers tend to be sensible folk !),..in the " For sale" section. At the worst, a new set of burrs may be needed

Single boiler rotary pump espresso machine?

I read it as the OP wants an E61 group, that doesn't need any cooling flushes, and rotary pump. Buying a reliable new/used espresso machine, max budget $2500

Try throwing a tea towel over the group head, and flushing brew water through as soon as the boiler is up to temp ! When you learn how to do this , and keep the boiler element on most of the time, you can have the group up to temp (& stable) in under 15 mins !

Any new/updated double boiler E61 espresso machine coming up?

Ahh !.. Well then , just buy a steamer and sit it beside the Zafiro ! Which group for a dual boiler ?.. The E61 has proven itself to work superbly on DB machines already, but the ideal would probably be a saturated group (LM etc) Note:- in effect the E61 on the Zafiro

Best settings for Rancilio Rocky grinder

You do understand that grinding for espresso needs fine adjustments ? One mark on the dial can be the difference between a good shot and a disaster.! Moving 2 marks on the dial could be the difference between a 15 sec shot , and a choke shot ! Hence the Teflon tape mod to allow part step adjustments...

My Mazzer Super Jolly Doserless Mod

Ingenious conversion ! But why did you see the need for a "funnel" of any type ? You could simply extend your tube down to the PF holder

Ultimate Mazzer Major Project

Messy grinding is mostly down to organisation of equipment and technique. I have used several different doser less grinders (Rocky, Compak, Fiorenzato, etc) ,..all of which can be messy , but if you set the PF holder correct, use a dosing funnel (or yogurt pot cut down !).. And change your technique...
