Weber Workshops "BIRD" Brewer [VIDEO]

I am most interested in the temperature decline from start to finish. I might be wrong, but it doesn't seem to be double walled or insulated. The aesthetics are beautiful, but

Syphon temperatures

I'm not certain how you make your French Press. I don't know anyone who puts water in their press and then adds coffee to it. Coffee first. Water second. Procedure matters, but it's not a single variable, it's a multi-variant system (eleven...maybe twelve) where each aspect affects a multiple of oth...

Under "5.0 Standards and Definitions" Compulsory Service 5.1 B "Competitors will be given eight (8) minutes of Setup Time and seven (7) minutes of Competition Time ...

Siphon - trying to get a bright/fruity cups as opposed to a deeper/richer cup

The most important factor in any results in your cup starts with the coffee you are using. With the siphon, everything matters just a little bit more. Sp, as an obvious, start with a fruity coffee. My recommendations. 16:1 or 17:1 water to coffee ratio. (fairly) fine grind. Just a touch coarser than...

Flat burr HG-1 equivalent for coffee?

Is there a comparable -- in both design, builld, and quality of grind -- flat burr grinder for coffee as there is the HG-1 conical for espresso? Am I missing it, or is there not anything there? If not, someone want to build it?
