Post a pic of your home espresso setup...
{image} My MAX arrived a few days ago. I finally get what people mean when they talk about the clarity. So far I've been really impressed

KafaTek Monolith Shuriken burrs
I received my MAX a week ago and the difference between it and a hopper fed K30 is night and day. When grinding a light roasted Ethiopian from counter culture, the K30 had notes of blueberry and chocolate, but it was more of the background flavor and muddled up. The MAX with the shuriken burrs had s...

Mahlkonig K30 Vario grinding inconsistently

Shout out to favorite San Diego cafe
Wow, I need to get out more. I've been in San Diego 2 years now and I haven't heard of most of these places, only Bird Rock and James. Definitely agree with the bird rock La Jolla location, I drive past it to get to work and they are very consistent and have a rotating pour over menu. Will check

La Marzocco Home Espresso Subscription - Milk Money Espresso + Finca El Arrollo
I tried the Arrollo today, 8 days post roast. I did 18 grams in, 36 grams out at 200 F. I had to grind very fine and did a 20 second pre-brew. The shot was pretty pleasant on the first try, a nice mellow sweetness followed by a pronounced peach flavor. I didn't pick up any

Kafatek Pre-Orders for July 11
I picked up a max on my first ever try. I used my iPad which auto fills all my information. I was able to check out in less than 10 seconds. That must be the key. Out of curiosity, does anyone know how many are made per batch?

San Diego/Carlsbad roasters
I agree, Birdrock, but they have multiple locations and if you want to split hairs, the location actually in Birdrock is the best

Mahlkonig K30 grinding problems
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll look into them. I've been using my backup grinder recently so I don't waste anymore coffee
