Fellow Aiden anyone?

I got the email other day and was like meh just another typical brewer, not interested. But now watching that vid, this looks seriously cool and capable. Especially when mentioned can do a true single cup serve if wanted, and profiling like declining temps etc. Now I'm interested lol. I don't really...

Favorite nutty / med-dark espresso coffee?

1lb so their prices are pretty good even without discount. Ordered a lb eachTorro and Brazilian Fine, so shipping from there to FL was only $6 and got here in like 3 days. If you look on their site their roasting and shipping is done on certain days. Def better than the plethora of roasters now char...

Favorite nutty / med-dark espresso coffee?

Another good option, just ordered first time from WCR and really enjoying their espresso torro. It's so good for a med dark, pulling with HG1 Prime and on BDB (16g dose in HQ14 ridgeless or whatever that basket was called it's slightly larger than ridged 14, I have the ridged 14 and the old ridgeles...

Troubleshooting Steam Wand on Crossland CC1

Honestly I can't remember, could swear the thermoblock comes apart somehow but it's been so many years I can't remember exactly. I do know other owners back then were periodically soaking it to descale, thermoblocks are just really more at risk than boilers for buildup

Troubleshooting Steam Wand on Crossland CC1

I had one back in the day, one of the first units. The steam is a thermoblock and if it's that old likely seized up with scale. Can remove the thermoblock like some used to do and soak in a descale etc solution. I think the thermoblock comes apart/opens up also but it's been so long I can't really r...

Blind shaker better than WDT??

I've changed my mine on the topic, I was trying to shake with hand covering on magic tumbler that I got with the HG1 Prime. That doesn't really work lol. But I have the Craig Lynn blind tumbler and I'm shocked, so as amazing as the HG1 Prime is it's super suuuuuuper finicky on distribution with any ...

Blueberry (or any berry) bomb coffee recommendations?

Making it V60 than in HyperChiller before pouring over ice I'm liking it, def not a berry bomb but am getting a juicy berry-ness and fairly mellow like no real bright acidity. Chilled like that it's delicious. Can't quite dial it on espresso yet, was getting that same nice juiciness but seems super ...

Blueberry (or any berry) bomb coffee recommendations?

I had to go back through my orders to remember but in 18-19 shoulda experienced their Harrar, I'm talking making milk drinks ice or hot made them taste like blueberry milkshakes that note was so strong. Also surprised how they kept their pricing so similar, barely higher than 2018, just paid $28 shi...

Zerno Z1 or Z2

If that's the case will be disappointed, was hoping for a new grinder that takes 80mm burrs. Not another 83 which there's a flood of on the market and burrs are basically sideways move from 64s
