The magic answer, in case anyone else needs to do this, is to order the Baratza Forte hopper, file down one of the tabs on the outer diameter of the hopper throat, and it'll fit perfectly in the MXK's throat. Quick measurement of the bottom of the stock hopper shows a diameter of about 2.65" There is a substantial (~1cm) lip inside the throat (didn't measure that, as it's full of coffee right now) where the hopper bottoms out
