Mypressi is definitely back in business
One other thing: Why not make a version that hooks up to a rechargeable "paintball gun" CO2 bottle? I figured that it'd be almost free per shot... not a solution for air travel, but a replacement end cap with a place (valve) to hook to an external bottle to would probably be all that is needed... Mypressi is definitely back in business
Stephen.. great deal.. I'm glad I checked on the fate of the Mypressi again! I went out and bought a DeLonghi as a "daily driver" after that news and was only using the Twist for special occasions and when traveling. I can only say that with the cheap DeLonghi Machine unpressurized and slightly modi...

MyPressi Twist Woes - US Operations Cease
Thanks for sharing about the screws.. I'll have to look for them. Getting the proper C-ring plier down into the unit isn't that bad either, and I happened to have the tools to do that. Believe it or not, my local Ace Hardware carries several different types of material in O-rings, and so does the lo...

MyPressi Twist Woes - US Operations Cease
I am also rooting for ZPM but have decided not to pre-order because I have serious doubts if their current design will be adequate. I understand the direction they are taking (I'm an Electrical Engineer) -- but a single thermoblock is a bit questionable the way they are trying to use it. It could wo...

MyPressi Twist Woes - US Operations Cease
You can still by them from many places like Prima Coffee, but you risk no warranty. I actually expect that the value of these units initially will go up.. so if you want one, I'd jump on it. Fred

MyPressi Twist Woes - US Operations Cease
Well, it's definitely "user-servicable" now, isn't it? Well, except for no parts being available. Does anyone have a broken one? I'd like the end cap to drill a hole into and put a brass fitting to use for a refillable paintball CO2 tank. I was SERIOUSLY thinking of contacting Espressi (like days away

MyPressi Twist Woes - US Operations Cease
Figures, I buy into it and the @#$@# company goes out of business one and a half a months later. Can't honor the warranty eh? Thanks. The MyPressi does pull a good shot, but it's darned inconvenient to use. Now it's a throwaway. Good thing I got it for rock bottom price. Geeze, can

10 Years After... The Lelit Plus Silvia Killer
If the "plus" were to come to the states in either version (there is a non-PID PL41-Plus listed on LeLit's site), I would be seriously interested. I almost went for a PL41.. but the tiny little boiler and the hassle factor of the 57mm portafilter on that unit kinda killed the deal. The non-PID versi...

Mypressi Twist V2 Problems
It actually says in the manual 8g only... Which I'm bummed about. It will be mail order only for me because in my little berg of Cedar Rapids, IA no one sells food grade CO2 or N2O. Not a problem if I stay ahead of it! Bummer if travelling somewhere "small" by air, though. I did

$129 for an Espresso Grinder?!
The combination of the Encore and Mypressi worked great!.. It really did.. I did not even use beans that any "expert" would consider good for Espresso (Burundi @ FC) and 3/5 double shots I pulled were excellent, the other two were better than passible. In fairness, it would have been nice to have fi...
