Espresso in Austin?
Has anyone tried Third Coast coffee? I just bought a bag of their espresso blend from central market and found it surprisingly good, a silky milk chocolate flavor. I'm pretty sure it's what Kerby Lane uses for their coffee

Espresso in Austin?
I think the best three places to go to are Medici, Houndstooth and Once Over. All three serve Cuvee Coffee, with Once Over and Medici having their own customized blends. Houndstooth also has a real nice selection of Handsome and CCC coffee, with the La Forza and Scouts Honor the most popular. If you...

Flavored Kona
Don't worry, I used grindz which always works well. I ran some Counter Culture through it this morning and it's absent of any chocolate macadamia nut. I've heard that using white rice also works at cleaning grinders, can anyone profess to this?

Upon further examination I found that there was no roast date printed, so I immediately inferred that it was probabl...

Best Way To Measure Brew Pressure
I would like to make sure that my Gaggia Classic is actually working at around 9 bars, but since there isn't a gauge already installed I have to either install one myself like this guy did {video}or just buy a PF pressure gauge but since I'm new at Home Brewing, I'm not sure if the latter would be a...

Undertow
I was just wondering if anyone has heard of an undertow. A customer came into the shop and asked for one, but I wasn't sure how to do it and neither was he. I understand that it's composed of a little cream, flavoring, and a shot of espresso, but don't know what to do from there. Any

French Roast vs Espresso Roast
@ Randy G. I see what you're saying with the ashy flavor not being acceptable. Being I just got my first espresso machine two months ago, I'm still attempting to find the preferences I like. That coffee flavor wheel looks like it will come in handy, thanks
