Vibiemme Hx Jr running cool
Alright I have fixed the problem. It was the thermosyohon restrictor that was clogged. I got it out, descaled it and all is good again. I am however a bit annoyed that this happened as it was a bit difficult to get to and I'd like to avoid doing it again. I descaled the machine about 6 months ago

Vibiemme Hx Jr running cool
Ok so found some info that said to take out and disassemble the mushroom (take off the top nut where the small cylindrical screen is attached), soak it in descaler over night. So I've done that and I'm going to bed hoping to get up have have a good cuppa in the morning

Vibiemme Hx Jr running cool
Hey Eric Thanks for the reply. Any input on how I go about fixing that would VERY welcomed. I also want to mention that the steam is very powerful with the higher pressure (well duh, but I wanted to include any detail just in case) Br Klaus

Quamar M80e - a new owner's view
Hi Will This 2012 model has a different button setup than the previous model with 5 buttons instead of 2. Press "Man" and it grinds until you press the "Menu" button to stop the grind. I do however think it can only grind for 30 sec straight, but it's hard to tell from the "english" manual

Upgrading from Rancilio Rocky
Hey I am exactly where you are. Looking for an upgrade to my Rocky DL. I almost went for a Mini E A, but then I stumbled upon something I had never heard of. The Quamar M80e. I haven't bought it yet (still hoping for a Christmas surprise;o) so I can't comment on any personal experience, but from wha...
