Coffee waste reduction techniques
That post on the development of the coffee is very eye opening and thanks for bringing that up. Great perspective. Thanks for the input everyone. I suppose I will go ahead and let loose and purchase a cup of yogurt to help dosing (hope it doesn't break the bank ). Any more thoughts

Coffee waste reduction techniques
Perhaps I am the only person that is consistently irritated by the amount of coffee waste that happens during the course of pulling shots, but boy does it irritate me. As a person who has to travel 90 miles to the nearest roastery and has an income of $00.00 it sure would be nice to get some input f...

How to get microfoam from a turbofrother
My results were terrible... I ended up with hot milk. That's it. Did you do anything in particular to achieve your result? What kind of milk are you using and how "open" did you have the steam valve? I attempted several times and each was a dismal failure. (My doctor banned me from coffee this

How to get microfoam from a turbofrother

I'm glad to hear I didn't do that for nothing. Have you had excessive foaming problems at the start of frothing? Apparently you got decent results

Unfortunately the attachment would have to be routed out for the outer attachment to fit. It looks ...

How to get microfoam from a turbofrother
You are perfectly correct on all counts... thanks for the info. I guess I'll just have to practice then... Since you are familiar, do you have any tips that would be helpful about this particular tip/plastic extension?

How to get microfoam from a turbofrother
Split from "Microfoaming and the 'pfft' sound I am missing"... Anyone have anything to say about the Gaggia turbofrother? I actually after much practice have gotten what I believe to be fairly successful foam out of it although the machine is rather touchy with its steam. This turbofrother has almos...

Gaggia Evolution - Temperature inadequacy and pull time issues
Sorry to offend jrtatl, I also do indeed love UT (from Texas) and perhaps that was not a good comparison as the comparison I meant to make was from great to better, I was just wondering what the scope of the difference was. No disparaging meant. More on the grinder, and I guess I should just make a
