Lever/grinder - $1000 budget for work

The advantage to using a hand grinder may be that you could take it into a breakroom or unused conference room/office to do your grinding. Anyone who complains about the noise can usually be quieted with a free espresso

Home Barista Tales

Ooooo!! thanks for replying! I have one of those as well. The kids like to make their chocolate milk with it. I was hoping there was some new nifty contraption out there that could actually steam milk and make acceptable microfoam, yet still be highly accessible and practical for work

Home Barista Tales

What exactly is this "frothing wand" you have? I've seen plenty of milk frothers that heat up the milk, but none of them seem to be capable of anything I'd call microfoam. If there's a solution for the office out there, I'd love to try it!

Hah! I hadn't even considered that. I just like the use of his initials to portray a likeness of burrs

Need Help Finding a Certain Cartoon

I could have sworn I first saw this cartoon here, but after searching for the better part of the morning, and having no luck, I decided to post a thread. If I recall correctly, the cartoon in question is similar, in story, to Calvin And Hobbes. The coffee connection comes into play with the Dad, who...

Hand (grinder) Jive - a photo essay

With which being the more capable? The Germans? Is there a post or thread which succinctly summarizes the differences? I'm hitting the antique shops this weekend, and would love to stumble across a gem!
