Tonx.org: Tricks to help the lowly blade grinder

I think it's a great video and disagree about it being a bad thing to use good coffee. For many, using good coffee is the first step towards making better coffee. I know many folks like this that up until recently were still using Keurig machines or Melitta drippers with crappy pre-ground starbucks ...

Sorry! Spaced on the pics! I'll get to it at some point. Either way, it's all seamless as far as the bottom goes. One piece of metal on the bottom

Hario Skerton: To Mod or Not to Mod?

What I mean by burning out is that the Skerton's plastic parts will burn out over time with regular use. I'm sure you could google and read some threads on it and how to prolong the grinder's life. You can definitely go that route if that suits you. I only recommend a LIDO as an investment

Rosco Mini Hand Grinder Review

Interesting. It's possible that Ross changed the drive nut or something along those lines. Mine came grinding pretty darn fine at 1mm to the point where I was grinding for aeropress at 1.4mm, but over a few months I am up around 1.15-1.25 for a 2min aeropress and 1.3 for a 3:30 pour over. I've heard...

Rosco Mini Hand Grinder Review

Only thing to add is that you can use the catch cup to weigh beans and put them in the the grinder. It's a perfect fit and is what I use every time. No scoop or shot glass needed

Rosco Mini Hand Grinder Review

It is so wonderful to see a Rosco Mini review on here - meant to do it for a long time. I've owned my Rosco Mini since August 2012 and have used to almost daily since. It is mainly paired with my Aeropress (travel), Clever, Kalita, Beehouse, Siphone, etc. etc. etc. It works with any brewing method y...

Temperature profile of the Clever Dripper

I think the temp in the clever is fine. I have had unbelievably tasty cups from it. That is more than enough evidence to suggest it is a capable brewer and the temp decline is not an issue
