Update: I disassembled the machine and found the brew boiler to be leaking from a weld. It was replaced via warranty

I have checked all of the above.. The braided hoses are not warm and the steam pressure doesn't rise when brewing. The only other thing i can offer in terms of evidence is it seems I have a leak as the water in the reservoir drops faster than my rate of use, but I have no idea where it

Profitec Pro 700 brew boiler level dropping.
I leave my machine on and in the mornings when I make a drink, I am getting steam coming out of the group-head for about 5 seconds with no brew pressure. Once it fills, I get water at the correct brew pressure as the water level "catches up", but the temp has dropped from the cold water coming in

Mazzer Robur E alternative that's smaller?

Building my own thermofilter
I would like to build my own thermofilter. I have a couple of questions. Any help is appreciated. 1. the portafilter is brass- I am assuming people are soldering the thermocouple in place so it doesnt leak at 9 bars? What measures are taken to protect the the insulation on the wires while soldering?...

Roaster recommendations, budget close to $1000
Ive been roasting on a pop corn roaster for a couple years and have gone back to buying beans because of the time it takes to roast a pound. Im looking for a good roaster for close to $1000 dollars that can roast more than a 1/4 pound at a time. I'd love to hear you guys' suggestions

Mazzer Robur E vibration / sound
Ive got a Robur E that sees on average 1.5 shots / day. Ive had it for about a 1.5 years. - I go thru maybe 1/2 lb of coffee per week. About a month ago I noticed it was making a louder vibration noise than usual. It lasted about a week and the louder noise subsided.

Home Water Filtration System Recommendations.
I've been sourcing water for some time now and using it in the reservoir of my espresso machines. Does anyone have a recommendation on home RO systems that put back mineral to a specified range?
