Do my burrs need replaced?
Another vote for new burrs. But new burrs does not necessarily result in a good consistent grind. Consistency of particle size is critical for even extraction. There should be little variation in particle size. Flat clean mounting surfaces are essential and even then there can be flaws which make th...

What to replace when the "no water" indicator fixes no longer work
Does this machine have a low reservoir switch that sits underneath the water reservoir? Maybe I'm not understanding something here. The last Oscar I worked on had a micro switch under the reservoir to sense how much water was inside. You both seem to be describing electronic probes inside the reserv...

Lever machine: "group drinking"
I'm with Dan on this one. In fact CMA and San Marco commercial (leva) machines have check valves to prevent the back flow of water through the group head. The V seals of the home machine should do this but obviously don't do it effectively. Dumping the water and leaving open to fresh air seems like ...

Oliver, Sorry, no photos. not equipt at this time. Interesting job though. Customer has only access to 110 v at the "farmers market". I just noticed rust on the pressostat cover. Any steam leaks you're going to want to take care of pronto. Replacing the rubber seal on the water valve is only a temporary and partial fix if you don't also recut the notch out of the valve seat. For myself I had to make a special tool to do this. A

Sorry, no sales brochures. I just installed and fix them. Under commercial use, the steam and water valve drives frequently need new O rings and lubrication. Sight glass seals, I would think need attention, and the "spalletta" (shoulder) of the group head shield are fragile and should not be leaned ...

Wow. Been a long time since I've seen one of those in such nice shape. And I've never seen one w/ an internal pump. Or such a small boiler for that matter. Does this use the "basket type" dispersion screen with the built in PF spacer? I haven't seen those available for a long time. Hm. might be

Faema timer glitch
The membrane and button pads that i've seen all use separate wires for each value represented to create this momentary signal to the control board. I don't really seen an opportunity for this signal confusion to occur at the button pad unless it's wet. Any steam leaks? Do we know if it's only one or...

Faema timer glitch
Often, one of the lights or LEDs on the button pad will begin to blink when there is a fault with flow or sensing. is this happening? If it was the membrane pad then it would dose the correct amount, intermittantly. Not forget how much it was supposed to dose. I'm inclinded to think it's the control...
