Caravel VAM dislodged shower screen (did I ruin my chance for LMWDP membership?)

I did that to mine when I got it initially. I flattened it in a vise then tapped it back in around the edge with a flathead screwdriver and hammer. go slow and use a high striking angle. It will go back in

Teach me about pressurestats

First, I've been gone a while, hi everyone! My lusso's (sopac) pressurestat has gone out, and the replacement ceme I ordered doesn't seem to be working. It's the adjustable deadband version, but no matter how much I turn either of the adjusters it just heats indefinitely like there's no pressurestat...

Best grinder for a relative newbie?

I can't recommend most of those grinders, and the Baratza encore is marginal. $80 gets you very little in specialty coffee, and is considered the realm of hand grinders.
