Leaking pre-heater on La Marzocco GS3
I agree with all JRising said. I would only add perhaps clean off the face of the ferrule with a scotch brite pad. I haven't actually disassembled mine yet, but will in the near future. How is your steam level probe on the other side? I posted somewhere recently about mine, it looked like your leaki...

La Marzocco GS/3 updates, leak at probe
Thanks Jake. It's been several days and no signs of a leak. The "gunk" that I cleaned out of the groove seemed more like mineral deposits than a fiber washer but I guess it was probably there

La Marzocco GS/3 updates, leak at probe
Did a few updates to the MP GS/3 #1700. Replaced the top group cap with the SS version; mine had the plated brass version. Also replaced the valve body for the same reason. I noticed my steam boiler level probe was leaking at the fitting that screws into the boiler. Took it off. Found what looks lik...

Help - La Marzocco GS/3 steam boiler scale
I would advise replacing the steam boiler drain ball valve. Mine died at some point in the last few years; while you have it off it may as well be replaced. Not too expensive. As far as the rest, I don't know. I just upgraded to the new vacuum breaker valve; it is a far easier installation than

La Marzocco GS/3 total rebuild
I am really looking forward to redoing the motor mounts. I have a feeling they have been "off" since new. Jake, you said 3/16 ID and 1/2 OD. What thickness do you think is the hole they fill? I am looking at some nice hi-temp silicone grommets from McMaster. Thanks. All help appreciated. Here is wha...

La Marzocco GS/3 total rebuild
Thanks a bunch Jake_G!! Mine is a MP, with Strada mod. I have rebuilt the group a few times. The last time I noticed the large 36 mm bottom nut was eroding. I really should have taken care of it then......not sure what I will find this time when I open it up. Mine (36 mm nut under MP valve

La Marzocco GS/3 total rebuild
I remember a while back coming across an amazingly detailed thread on someone completely tearing down and rebuilding their GS/3. I cannot find it now; can someone help? Yes I did search. It is time for my #1700 to get a thorough descale and update. As soon as I get a few more parts from LM. Thanks

La Marzocco GS3 MP major service
Let us know what you find. I am in the same boat. I just changed all my one way valves 6 months ago. I think it is nearly time for a complete tear down and inspection

La Marzocco GS3 MP and PID factory setting
Do you have the manual? I have found my settings to almost match all the numbers shown on the pages showing programming. The best, of course, would be to measure with a Scace to get the actual temps to set the offset. I can check my settings, but I assume they are not the same from machine to machine
