Bellwether Coffee Roasting System
Looks gorgeous. I noticed the curated green menu and the focus on sourcing greens for customers via "the bellweather network". Is there an option to roast greens outside their menu? I have seen a few roaster business models come and go that hook the buyer on their green. The advantage is repeat busi...

How much does roasting affect cup score?
Beautifully put. People tend to think of the coffee score as incremental like a grade or IQ, which helps marketing, but does not help you predict taste. Spider graphs are more meaningful, in lieu of scoring sheets. Back to the original post, I find 1.5 score range a bit tight. Maybe 2. And there is ...

Brainstorming theoretical fluid bed build
Nice build. I would recommend replacing the perforation with much smaller holes, to avoid wasting energy, and take the thermocouple out of the center/air flow, to avoid measuring hot air. Place it higher on the side where beans are accumulating on their down path

Yama Silverton - Thoughts?

Top product launches at HOST Milan 2015
No one mentioned La Marzocco yet? They had the Out Of The Box event during the first two days of Host, then joined Host. They had a new Strada AV, Linea with integrated shot scale in the tray and their monstrous, transparent space age lever prototype. I forgot to save my snapchat coverage. I like th...

The mysterious Profitec Pro 300
It is a demo unit, and I even used the portafilter from my GS/3 to keep all accessories as good as new. But I will keep it in my kitchen for a while and run side by side tests with the GS/3 as I find it really interesting and special to to have such a small dual boiler with PID

The mysterious Profitec Pro 300
I was worried about the steam boiler size on the Pro 300 for steaming milk, but this little DB is impressive. So with all due respect to celebrity cafe owners, this was my first attempt: {image}

Where to buy Ninety Plus greens?
Correct, it mostly goes to pros. You will need to go through re-sellers, mostly in Eastern Asia, or buy direct from NintyPlus in 20Kg boxes
