New references for dark roasting?

I have also recently been going back to darker roast. I enjoyed the 3rd wave fad of lighter and brighter and almost forgot how pleasant darker roast can be. I was pleasantly surprised with SM holiday espresso blend 37. 1st time taking a roast in to 2c for several years

Sweet Maria's Espresso Workshop #36 Subiramo

I purchased 5lb of this 3 weeks ago. Took my 1st roast to a FC+ - a few snaps in to 2C. Had a black licorice taste profile until 2 weeks out, after that : wow became one of my instant favs. At the 2 week mark displays a great tasting sweet dark chocolate, salted caramel, slight cherry jolly rancher

There is enough of us home roasters now that it would be nice to see a section put up dedicated to monthly Green Coffee buying suggestions and reviews

I finally nailed the targets; it'll probably suck.

Plenty of room to mount a phidget in the USRC control box and is defiantly the way to go. I just installed mine last night. I decided not to go wirless right now to cut down on cost. With 2 TC's, compression fittings, 1048 Phidget and enclosure it will cost you just under $200

Data logger to use with Artisan

Had a hard time trying to get the TMD-56 to work with Artisan. I could get delta BT/ET to show up but no BT/ET temp data. I did get the BT to show up once but disappeared after a few minutes and could not get it working again. I think I got a hold of a defective unit.
