Read pump pressure with or without blind filter?
My R58 add maintenance a year ago, I asked the technician to compare the Rocket pressure gauge with a PF gauge, pressure was the same. In this case, if I want 8bar, should I adjust the pump with a blind portafilter until gauge read 8 bar? thank you

My grinder is 4 years hold. Only use for personal. (Average 5 cups/day) Beans use are medium-dark Does it need maintenance? Should I clean the burr? If yes, HOW? Is it something easy to do? Thank you

For Office. Budget Around $1500 Espresso Machine & Grinder
Need buying advice for my office. I guess buying for a office, because lots of peoples will use the equipment, I most have a different approche when selecting the equipment. We are 10 employees, it most be simple to use and reliable. My first choice will be the Rancilio Silvia. How about a grinder?

I find sourness easy to taste in espresso Get and scale + timer My scenario will use 18g of grind NOW: 1. Get 30g of liquid in the cup (try to be in the 25-35sec. range) 2. Taste. If sour, get 36g of liquid and taste again. Increase yield until sourness is gone 3. Example

Compak K10 makes sound but not turning! Blocked?
Today, I remove again all the beans and empty, the grinder work!!! Could it be the beans? They are new beans I had never tried in the past. Only comment about those, taste was like "grass" They are brown, not dark-brown. I add to raise temp to maximum and coarse finer to try to get something drinkable
