Starting a roasting business and need a quality espresso machine to sample roasts consistently I was looking for a slayer as it seems no other machine can extract the way it does The new LaMarzocco Linea R seems to have closed the gap and I read the quality of the slayers in posts has issues

I had the same question a month ago and ended up with the Acaia Lunar I tend to try and buy higher quality once vs multiple items at a cheaper cost Simply I love the thing and it works great

I have not pulled it apart yet but read that the " mushroom " takes the brunt of the corrosion and in videos people have replaced them Any online parts suppliers you recommend ? Thank you

I built my own Fran Ken roaster and have been using it for 6 years These type of roasters teach you a lot about things temp per min rates, where first crack should come in , what's a good temp to drop the beans as the will continue to roast till cooled down. Glad you had fun with it.
