Marketplace find Victoria Arduino Leva Athena - got questions

Craig's right, a frozen and damaged boiler would be a complete dealbreaker. That being said, if the machine isn't freeze damaged, then there are still a lot of parts not pictured. You would need to ask the seller if he has another box of parts somewhere. A quick list would include 2 pistons, 2 pisto...

Low Profile Commercial Espresso Machine

Make sure to check with your local health inspector. It is likely that a machine that is difficult to move will need to be raised above the counter, usually by 4", to allow regular cleaning

Comocafe basket

Another possibility, I just tried a Microcimbali basket in my Comocafe portafilter and it appeared to fit. When I get a chance I will try pulling a shot to see if it leaks

Comocafe basket

The Comocafe uses a flat rimmed 49mm basket, so Strietman or Cremina rolled rim baskets would only work if you modified them to flat. The Riviera baskets work, but only the older style flat rimmed baskets, the ones commonly available are the newer 51mm rolled rim baskets. You might try contacting Za...

Replacing brew boiler in Profitec Pro 700

It isn't uncommon for manufacturers to use BSPT fittings on a boiler. For any fitting that will need a specific orientation when installed BSPT and a couple drops of thread lock make it easier for them. It also frequently makes it impossible to reuse the same fitting once it has been removed

DIY gas conversion

I don't think you will be able to use the Astoria gas valve on a brew boiler. It is designed for 1.5 bar steam input, 9 bar hot water is unlikely to work. Switching the brew boiler to digital temperature control would work, but you will need to source a proportional gas valve with the appropriate fl...

Restoration: Model ID help and hello

The vertical boiler with steam tubes to the groups marks it as La Spaziale. Looks pretty similar internally to a New EK/Rapid, but they used the same parts in other machines

La Pavoni problem - lever resistance too high after servicing

Another possibility... Did you wipe the piston shaft clean while you were servicing the machine? There is a piston shaft gasket hidden up inside the group that needs to remain lubricated. A dry piston shaft and gasket would lead to some serious stickiness
