Lights flicker in house, when espresso machine is on (Alex Leva).
For what it's worth, I have the same exact problem in my apartment, with the same exact machine. I've had my maintenance people in to check everything and they can't find a cause. It only happens when my Alex Leva is on and idle

coarser grounds and or coffees that include either robusta or malabar/monsooned beans do this quite easily, most notably for me on manual levers too
