Intelligentsia Roasting lighter than TW, DAK, Manhattan (CONFIRMED)

Intelligentsia has a lot of history and-at some time at least-some well-earned credibility. The current state? Haven't had it in a while. It's worth digging through some history of JAB Holdings and its acquisitions in the space to get a sense of how Intelly and Peet's came together. There's still an...

Any roasters on par with Howell and Wendelboe?

I agree that GH has been a bit more hit or miss lately. They're my neighborhood shop so that's been a bit disappointing to me. I've been pretty happy with Passenger. I find their prices fair though their free shipping went away sometime late last year and that does change the calculus a bit. I order...

Passenger Recommendations

Bumping this up. Is it me, or does Passenger no longer offer free shipping? There was a minimum before (I always exceeded) but I no longer see that. Ordering from Passenger was an easy choice as the beans are good and value for money placed them firmly within my "willing to spend" range with the gra...

Passenger Recommendations

Actually, my last order of the Kamavindi left me a little underwhelmed. My standard Chemex and V60 recipes did not give the same results: good not great. It's now been too long to remember what I did differently (if anything) with that first order

Fellow news and information!

Nick, Is the standard Corvo body compatible with any of the EKG based: standard, pro, or studio? Thinking of a new gooseneck for me and a standard kettle for my wife's tea. Thanks!

Blueberry (or any berry) bomb coffee recommendations?

I second everything said here. My sibling was also a big Verve drinker and no longer is for the same reasons. What's happened? IDK but a former go-to is now a "rather not" for me. Shame. Sermon was reliably the (blueberry) bomb for me once upon a time

Miir Carafe: Any users? Impressions?

I am a dedicated Chemex brewer... which of course means I've gone through a few over the years due to breakage and suffer the occasional disappointment of cooled coffee if I am kept from decanting to my cup during the morning bustle. Enter the Miir carafe: {link} Any early adopters here? I'm wonderi...

Passenger Recommendations

I've now had all three coffees. All are good and offer a positive/pleasant experience. The standout of the three for me is the Kenyan. The Agaro and Divino NiƱo are good but don't really stand out from what I get locally (George Howell). The Kamavindi was a step above. I don't normally buy GH Kenyan...
