Pretty common issue- why is my Chemex brew too bitter?
I am wondering if you actually grinding too coarse and are tasting under extraction. I find it can be a bit hard sometime to distinguish the two tastes. How is your time when brewing?

US Barista Championship 2023 Portland
Are there any competitions for brewing cup or barista, where the coffee is the same for each contestant? I know I am not the only one who probably feels like these competitions have more to do with the coffee that is sourced than the actual skill of the competitors. Thus, I always just glance over t...

There are also old worm gear grinders that can do espresso. It just seems a crowded space, curious of the actual specs tho. Really like my Ode. E...

Costco MN: Duluth Coffee Company $9/lb
I live Charleston SC and have Charleston Coffee Roasters here at Costco. I have had it a few times but nothing I would write home about, solid medium roast just not my speed. Actually I am surprised not to see Stumptown or Intelligentsia yet at a Costco

Brew grinders
You sir sound like you have a project ahead of you as I do not think anything straight out of the box will work for you. Does the word Bunzilla mean anything to you? "Making my Bunnzilla (Ditting 804 burrs in a Bunn)" If you have further questions use the search function
