This is for my wife not me.

She drinks my coffee but still likes Starbucks regular drip coffee on occasion. (Coffee flavored coffee. What a concept.) The other morning she was out and about and wasn't home to make coffee and got some at Starbucks. She liked it and didn't know what it was and had me taste it after she got home. Being a former Starbucks drinker I immediately recognized it as their Italian or possibly French Roast, if they still have the latter.

I do a french roast for her every once in a while but usually with an African bean. But it's different from SB. Has anyone tried to reproduce this for any strange reason or know its secret ingredients?
