I am due to replace the group head seals on my la pavoni europiccola, millenium model. I figured that while I was at it, I'd do it for my friend's millenium as well. Heck, it's just a seal kit.
To my surprise and shock, the refeathering kit has jumped in price from ~$40 to $75.30! While this kit does include a shower screen, I'm pretty sure it did before too.
I do like to support the sponsors of HB, and I have done so whenever possible (and I plan to again-e.g. weekly shipments of Black Cat, and I always click through the links on HB). I just couldn't bring myself to do it this time. If LP has raised the wholesale price of parts recently, it hasn't yet affected other online retailers of seal kits.
Might be time to buy them up from other sites if/before a widespread price increase is coming.
