glittermom1 wrote:Dave, the red oak cold drip brewer is just fantastic. Did you learn woodworking from someone in your family? Also, I love that you have an entire countertop, without the hindrance of cabinets overhead, dedicated to coffee. I may have to rethink turning my stovetop island into a coffee bar!
Wood shop in high school almost 30 years ago. Been doing it for a while off and on. Best way to learn is to do, learn from your mistakes and do again.

Olive wood handle for a Cafelat portafilter. Not a very good photo, kept wanting to wash out. Lot more grain in the wood than shows in the photo.

Not sure when or what they would look like... but I want to have some of the functional art-wood that you make. Those are some beautiful handles, knobs, bases, etc.
Searching for that perfect espresso!

Tamper stand, paddle group and steam control for a La Marzocco GS3 espresso machine in Bacote wood. I had made a portafilter handle earlier for the same customer.

I've sean a similar colour referred to as driftwood.
Between order and chaos there is espresso.

Are these made for a customer or are they available? I just received a 87 Cremina. If available, an you PM me price, or point me to a website?

Nope. Everything is made to order. Those went off to Ireland, it is blue mahoe, yes it starts blue and turns green when you apply finish.
