Process of trying to restore my Conti princess. I have a cooked on gasket that I believe is on the underside of the group head does anybody know how to get that off without damaging the metal

You can remove an old, hardened group head gasket with a tool like this:

If the gasket comes apart in pieces, you can then carefully clean the groove with something a bit more blunt to avoid scratching the metal.

Run a small wood screw into it (but not into the group) grab it with pliers and pull. That will yank it loose or put out a chunk. After that a dental pick or paint can opener to pry it out the rest of the way and scrub the raceway to clean it out.

I am looking to restore my Conti princess machine and I am looking for a schematic and a place(website) in which I can find replacement parts, or parts from other machines that may work on my machine
