I recently became interested in knowing more about the La Marzocco paddle group.
From what I can tell there are at least 3 variants of it.
1. Pre-GS3 paddle group - http://www.espresso-restorations.com/GS22.html
2. Vertical moving paddle - Present in the original GS3, Linea and other machines
3. Horizontal "conical" paddle - Present in the GS3 MP 2017 and other commercial machines
Does anyone have a parts catalog for a machine like the GS2? Is that paddle group similar to #2 or was it completely different? It seems like a lot of the top mechanism is different at least. But I wonder how compatible it is.
I just basically wanted to see the evolution of it.

There is also the paddle in the Linea Mini which, rather than operating a mechanical valve, activates a micro switch to turn on and off the brew water.

Yeah, that's not really the same thing though.
