SOLD: My beloved OE Pharos Grinder
A very very fine Titan Class Grinder with 68mm Commercial Steel Conical Burrs. Generation I number 00568. Made in Idaho by Doug. It is absolutely excellent. About 70lbs have been put through and the Burrs are perfectly seasoned now. Voodoo mods are a must. Catch basket did away with the internal funnel design in which you would get ground retention. Aluminum bolt covers for extreme rigidity during grinding. Also a Stainless pointer and scale for changing grind settings with consistency, Handle zeroing pin when adjusting grind settings, Setscrew with Allan nuts on side, and bearing set have been upgraded. This performs just as well as my Compak K10 for a 1/5 of the cost. Included are all of the Old Pharos original parts, Allan key, etc. All of the new ones are Made in China. This is the Grinder that started all of the Imitators eg HG-1, Mahlgut. Sad to let it go but I use my Kafatek Conical now.
