Decided to visit a recent friend at his cafe. Wanted to see machine before the new owners take possession. I believe it's a Classic Victoria Arduino Athena Leva 2L.
Apologize for poor cell phone photo's.
Had a few sweet shots from machine with some home made apple fritters.

Between order and chaos there is espresso.

I've always liked that machine, wish it came in a single group.

Although still rare, I've seen more of these Arduino's levers appear in Canada than any other. I'm not a fan of hammered copper but it's cool to see any lever here.

I concur as there must have been an importer within the GTA at one time heavily moving these.arcus wrote:Although still rare, I've seen more of these Arduino's levers appear in Canada than any other. I'm not a fan of hammered copper but it's cool to see any lever here.
I've seen them in 2 and 3 groups. Usually found in smaller cafes, euro bars, and mall kiosks.

Thanks, that's got to be it! I wonder how many Gaggia they sold in the 50's as I've, sadly, never seen one for sale.
