Hi Everyone,

I've got a simonelli aurelia which is presenting a no power symptom. It appears to have a short, I say this because the LCD in the upper left which has the power button (electronic, not the main switch) has noticeable corrosion caused by a leaky steam valve, the display burnt out but the buttons still worked. I tested the continuity of the button and it seems good but the machine no longer powers on. I do get an unusual audible whistling from the LCD card when turned on.

Is it possible this card failing is not signaling power when pushing the electronic button and thus the machine fails to turn on or is that unlikely?
