I'm referring to this post: Going to SCAA 2011: What would you like hear more about?
This was almost a year ago, so I was curious if anything developed since then.HB wrote: For those who bristle at the disposable NO2 cartridges for the Mypressi TWIST, Stephen O'Brien has a solution in the works. It's not available yet, but will be a pump unit that charges the unit directly. He said it would be compatible with existing units. Sorry, it was pictured in the display below, but not demonstrated at the show.

In September of last year, after some correspondence with MyPressi this is the response I received regarding the pump:
Also they still expect it to be backwards compatible with all earlier models.Additionally, the "electric TWIST charger" should be released early next year!

Exciting. I remember reading a post about this, but had completely forgotten about it.

I had just received a message from a rep of Mypressi saying that the AIRO was delayed and will be coming out later this year. He did not give me a definitive date nor a price and so we'll have to just wait and see.
